Good morning! This is the look that I gave myself when I realized it had been 12 days since I had blogged! Seriously though, how hilarious is that face. This is her "mad face" which she doesn't actually do when she's mad, but rather when she's showing you the variety of expressions that she can demonstrate. I thought it would be fun to play a little catch-up and show a speed version of the last 12 days of our lives. Which basically means, here's the camera roll of Grace for the last little bit! Enjoy!
We woke up to our first snow of the year (that was more than a dusting) on the 5th. Grace thought she had to go outside to play when Hendrix went out. Can't you just see the happiness in her eyes? Ha! She was pretty unsure and lasted roughly a quarter of the time outside that it took to bundle her up.
This robe showed up the week of Christmas as a "just because" gift from Andrew's cousin. Grace calls it her Mi Mouse blanket prefers to wear it while enjoying her morning milk.
These two were headed out on a donut date. Their bond is one of my very favorite things to watch develop. Grace gets so excited when her Dada gets home from work! She also recently started saying Daddy about half of the time, instead of Dada, and it makes her seem so much older.
Pure joy! We went to the Disney store because Grace had gotten a gift card for her 1st birthday (yes, I'm aware that we're rapidly approaching her 2nd...) and she chose some new MM ears, a plate, cup, utensils, that all featured MM of course, and a Daisy Duck doll. She was in such awe inside the store! I can't imagine what it will be like to take her to Disney World for the first time.
MDO started back last week! She was excited to see her "fwends" and "teee-chair".
Playdates with sweet little friends. They are 17 days apart and although they've been having playdates for over a year, they've started to really interact and play together recently.
Our church has an awesome indoor playground and hosts a playgroup on Thursday mornings that we frequent. This was inside one of the log tunnels.
Another playdate with Stella! Grace calls her "Sted-a" and it's adorable. She asks to see her and will point out which one of the little chairs at Grace's table Stella sits at when she's over. It's fun to watch their little friendship develop.
Oh, sweet Grace. This is as good as it was getting for a Sunday best picture last week. She's definitely getting more defiant and rebellious the closer that we draw to turning two. I'm not happy that my baby is 1 month and 2 days from two... But, who's counting?!?
